About Me
In December 2020 I moved to the UK, where I was working as an au pair (nanny live in) for a lovely family. I have provided full time childcare support for a year for two young children (16 months and 4 years old) while I was improving my level of English.
After that I have been working as a Deputy Room Lider in a Montessori nursery. At the moment I´m working as a Teaching Assistant in a school in Sittingbourne.
I´m PE teacher qualified, and also I got a master degree in Education.
On a personal level, I am someone who is friendly, creative and energetic, with a positive nature. I understand the importance of actively listening to people – especially children. I am also very hands-on, have a good sense of humour.
In my spare time I love to be busy and I am passionate about football, swimming and all type of exercise. I enjoy socialising and meeting new people. Another of my hobbies is traveling; I have visited more than 20 international destinations in the last 8 years of life, between American, African, European and Asian.
My Experience
When it comes to childcare experience, I have a lot of experience taking care of my younger relatives and other children throughout my studies. I have worked in many companies with focus on children's wellbeingt, especially related to sports.
Also, with my experience working as an au pair I have been able to work in a multicultural environment. I´ve picked up skills like organising daily schedules, collaborative communication skills, and being able to prioritise tasks - not to mention taking on serious responsibilities in a foreign culture.
Currently I´m working in a school.
My Qualifications
I finished my degree in Physical Education in Spain, I took a year abroad under the Erasmus programme a in France, in Rouen. I also have a master's degree in education which qualifies me to be a teacher at any level. I have QTS and PGCE.
