About Me
I have two children, a daughter of 25 and a stepson of 28. I have been married for 24 years and live in a detached house with a fully secure, child friendly, all weather garden on Westbury Park, Clayton, Newcastle Under Lyme. This is close to the hospital, just off Junction 15 of the M6. I live on a bus route direct from Newcastle, with buses running approximately every 30 minutes.
My Experience
I am a registered childminder at Debbie’s Little Ducklings, and have 23 years experience and have been consistently been OFSTED graded “Good” in my setting. I am a member of a local childminding group who meet twice weekly, and attend both days with other childminders, allowing children in my setting to mix amongst others of similar ages. I have an emergency procedure in place in which allows another registered childminder can be used to cover emergencies, holidays and sickness should it be needed. I have experience with children with allergies and intolerances, and work closely with parents to manage and meet these needs.
My Qualifications
I have been trained in Paediatric First Aid, and have completed my diploma in home based childcare, and have completed Level 2 Safeguarding. I attend training courses on a regular bases in order go keep myself and my procedures and policies up to date.
My Availability
I have immediate vacancies for children aged 0-11. Both full time and part time hours, including before and after school wrap around care. And my catchment school is Seabridge Primary, Roe Lane, Clayton.

Having known Debbie for over 13 years as a neighbour and often using her childminding service for my own two boys when they were younger I can highly recommend her.
She is completely reliable and offers a real home from home environment for the children she cares for.
With living in the same street I often see her and the little ones leaving for a fun days out or can hear the children laughing and giggle in the back garden having a fab time - as children should!!

Debbie has been childminding our twin sons since 11months of age (currently 40mths) the care, love, play and development opportunities she provides is exemplary.
She offers a safe, warm, friendly (homely) environment that our boys truly call their second home.
The boys have multiple food intolerances all of which Debbie manages with ease, reassuring me of her care plan for them and adapting food, treats and activities to ensure the boys feel included with all daily activities.
She provides a wide range of fun activities that encourage learning and development via interactive play, very often the boys come home with crafts and drawings completed whilst in her care.
I can credit Debbie with support in many of the boy’s key milestones – learning to walk, speech, behaviour, toilet training etc.
I would recommend Debbie without hesitation and hold her skills and abilities as a childminder in very high regard. As a busy working mum knowing that my precious miracle boys are so happy and well cared for makes the days pass with ease.

I cannot rate Debbie highly enough, my daughter has been looked after by Debbie since she was 7 months old and she is now 6 years old. She has been made part of the family and loves going as she is well looked after and loved. Debbie ensures the children feel safe snd secure and gives them plenty of stimulation and most importantly time to play which is what being a child is all about. I know my daughter loves going and i dont feel guilty leaving her while i go to work. Look no further than Debbie she is a lovely, caring lady and gives us mummies invaluable support as a childminder and now a friend.
