- Looking for New Daytime Clients:
I’m currently focusing on working with families during the daytime mainly starting from September, particularly caring for children under 5 years old. This is the age group I have the most experience with and truly enjoy supporting through nurturing, engaging activities tailored to their development.

- A Typical Day
Morning: Early care, breakfast, school or nursery drop-offs
Daytime: Nannying, play, learning activities, naps, and home routines
Evening: Babysitting, dinner, bedtime routines
Overnights: Available on request
My daytime hours are structured and dependable, while evening bookings remain flexible. I organise my schedule in clear time slots to accommodate multiple families smoothly.

- Location & Travel
I primarily work within the Enfield area but am willing to travel to nearby locations when transport costs are covered. I am willing to travel up to one hour on public transport; longer distances are negotiable with taxi costs covered
- Booking & Availability
I work with multiple families and balance my schedule carefully. Bookings are confirmed at least two weeks in advance on a first-come, first-served basis.
I don’t charge cancellation fees — I understand that plans can change.

My Qualifications
- DBS Checked: I hold an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, confirming I have no criminal offences.
- British Sign Language & Makaton: Currently studying BSL and Makaton, a simplified sign language commonly used with children with additional needs.
- First Aid Training: Completed basic First Aid training, enabling me to respond confidently to minor injuries and emergencies.
- Additional Accredited Courses: I have completed several accredited childcare and safeguarding courses (details available upon request).

My Availability
I offer flexible childcare tailored to your needs—whether occasional babysitting, part-time nannying, or ad-hoc support. My availability varies week to week, but I always do my best to accommodate families.
- Typical Day Structure:
Mornings (before 09:00): School/nursery drop-offs or early childcare
Daytime (08:00/09:00 – 16:00/17:00): Full-day nannying, outings, and structured activities
Evenings (from 17:00): Babysitting, after-school care, bedtime routines
Overnight Care: Available on request

I primarily work within Enfield and nearby areas. For families outside this zone, I’m happy to travel if transport costs are covered—usually £1.75 for bus/train fares during the day, or a taxi/lift if travelling before dawn or after sunset.

My Fees

My typical rate range is £13 to £20 per hour, with an average of around £15. Rates reflect my experience, qualifications, and the quality care I provide.
- Additional Fees:
Early starts (before 08:00) or late finishes (after 00:00): £16 per hour
School drop-offs & pick-ups: Minimum one hour charged at £16 per hour
Overnight Stays:
Sleeping hours (children asleep): £12.50 per hour
Active care (children awake): £16 per hour
After 08:00: Standard hourly rate applies
- Transport Costs:

We hired Ciara for babysitting for our girls a few times. Ciara was an absolute delight from the moment we first spoke. In a nutshell, she is the perfect combination of utmost professionalism and respect, just the right amount of laid back flexibility for parents and of course maximum amount of energy, fun and alertness with the kids. She is full of energy and positivity and truly treated my kids as if they were her own. With Ciara, I felt very comfortable and safe to leave the kids for a night out.
Ciara was amazing with the girls and they had a great time with her. I have a very fussy 14 month old and Ciara did wonders to sooth her. She never complained about anything and was so easy to work with.
I highly recommend Ciara as I have worked with many different babysitters in the past and none of them even compare. Ciara ticks off every box in the checklist.
We can’t wait to continue to work with her in the future.

Ciara is a kind, proactive and genuinely brilliant babysitter. She was recommended to me after helping my friend (which always bodes well) and we weren’t disappointed. When we first met, we trusted her completely and my 4 year old daughter immediately felt comfortable. She kept asking me when Ciara would be coming back to babysit and my 13 year old (who we thought would take issue to having a babysitter full- stop) was more than happy.
I worked as a nanny for many years and so I can really appreciate how much effort and hard work being a good childcare provider is and Ciara goes above and beyond. Thoughtful is an understatement- one evening while babysitting we received a message asking if we had spare salt and returned home to find she had made salt dough and set up a scene with the ‘elf on the shelf’ for the kids to find in the morning.
We asked her to be an extra set of hands at our wedding, which was the best decision. She perfectly gauged the situation and stepped in as and when was appropriate, diverted a few tantrums and kept our daughter entertained and happy without a fuss. She even took it upon herself to bring her camera and acted as photographer- knowing that we didn’t have one- and got the most wonderful pictures of our day.
Her experience and understanding of additional needs is a huge bonus whether you have neurodivergent children or not. Her demeanour is welcoming, warm, fun and knowledgeable. We couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you Ciara!

I’ve worked with Ciara multiple times and she never fails to astound me with her endless talents.
Her positivity, warmth, charm, endless energy, professionalism and above all
her ability to nurture and care for children in any setting.
She worked all day and night at my wedding and ensured my youngest (and my hardest) was taken care of so that I could enjoy my day without having a baby attached to me.
Best decision I ever made was to have her there on the day.
She goes above and beyond every time and is a real gem!

Ciara was a fantastic support for my 18-month old twin boys. She was always punctual, caring, warm, and proactive. She is a total pro, and knows exactly what she is doing. We couldn't recommend her more highly!

Ciara has looked after our now 19 month old son on several occasions during the evenings.
She formed an instant bond with our son, he enjoys spending time with her. He's not the best at getting to sleep or sleeping through the night, but Ciara follows our routine and somehow he magically falls straight to sleep each time, so we have now nick-named her the baby whisperer. :)
She sends frequent updates, so that we can enjoy our evening without worrying how the evening is progressing at home.
Ciara communicates clearly, is reliable, friendly professional, organised and obviously cares about and loves working with children.
Ciara comes HIGHLY recommended.

Ciara has looked after my 5 month old on a number of occasions, including a 12 hour stint at my wedding. Ciara is capable, kind, responsible, reliable and trustworthy. You can tell she loves working with babies and children and enjoys her time with them. At my wedding she was incredible - ensuring my little one was content and well looked after, meaning I could get on with enjoying the wedding! Ciara ensures she does regular phone updates while she is in charge of the baby and follows my routine to the letter. I have no hesitation in recommending Ciara for any child care duties and cannot give her enough praise.

We've had Ciara look after our children an a few occasions now. On one occasion we asked her to run an arts and crafts/games table to entertain children at a small family wedding - this allowed the parents to enjoy their meal. She has also helped look after my 2 children and my nephew after school which can be a challenge as the boys can be very boisterous - but she was firm and set boundaries as well as allowing them to have fun! Can't recommend highly enough.

We recently moved to Enfield and needed a babysitter for our 3yr old & 1yr old for both evenings we're out and for when our nursery is closed. Ciara is a life-saver for this! She formed an instant bond with both of our kids by bringing over some fun toys the first time she babysat so they were both happy as Larry with us leaving them. Ciara was great at entertaining them both inside the house with colouring and games as well as outside, taking them to the park and soft play. She is very communicative, sharing locations in whatsapp when out, sending photos (asked for our consent first) and checking in on exactly what is or isn't allowed e.g. ice cream or juice or budget for soft play etc. Most importantly both kids were really happy and instantly comfortable with her so we could go out with our minds at ease. We're very happy to have Ciara down the road.

Ciara has looked after my 2.5 year old daughter, picking her up from nursery, bringing her home on public transport, making her snack for tea, showering her and getting her ready for bedtime. This was my first experience having a babysitter and she has been very professional. Ciara is always on time, sends constant updates on whereabouts and always clearly communicates before, during and after her sessions. Ciara was fantastic with my daughter, fun, playful, engaging whilst at the same time being firm when needed. Ciara has a great way with kids and I would happily recommend her.
