About Me
I have a great love for children and for education. I am friendly, curious and patient with children. I find children easily build a trusting relationship with me and naturally respond positively towards me. I have been working with children for many years, first as a school assistant, then as a foster carer and now as a registered childminder. I run a robust childcare service from my 3 bedroom home with a garden, which is located beside Memorial Recreation Ground.
I accept Student Childcare Grant and have supported many students go through university by offering them care around their studies and peace of mind that their little ones will be kept engaged and happy.
The children grow their own strawberries and sunflowers. We go on Nature walks, watch the sunset, look at wildlife, play at the local parks. We attend local lego club and arts and craft. We also have a weekly movie night with popcorns and Pizza. The children LOVE IT!
I provide a variety of toys that include soft textured toys, letter and number play, puzzles, dolls, vehicles, balls, board games, drawing, sticking, outdoor equipment,, dressing-up outfits, musical instruments, and more.
I provide healthy meals and snacks, and cater for a range of different dietary requirements.
My Experience
I have over 25 years experience in a range of different childcare settings including special needs, foster care and teaching assistant. I have a excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
My Qualifications
- NCFE Cache level 3 Award in Childcare
- Various tiney training
- Safeguarding training by tiney

My Availability
My core hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. However, I also run an extended service from 6:30am to 7:30pm, which incurs an additional charge.

Mamisofi understands her role as a childminder. She took care of my girls and was a very lovely person. She has a nice place and a garden.

Mami Sofi isn't just a childcare provider for us,she is a amazing lady who put her soul and heart in her work with kids.She is always understanding and having a good communication with parents and kids.My son loves her and always wants to come back to mami Sofi. We wholeheartedly recommend her ☺️

MamiSofi is a brilliant childminder . My son really likes her and has started to bond with her . She's very professional but is brilliant has such a kind heart i would recommend her to any parent due to my experience with her with my son.
She takes kids to libraries, parks and arranges different activities for kids everyday which is good for child development. She got good space in her house for children play. We absolutely love how happy our little one is here.

I study a maximum of 4 days a week. Mamisofi collects my daughters from school, takes them to local after-school activities. The girls are always coming home with smiles, stories and a full belly which is always a plus.
Her house is lovely with loads of space for the children to run around and just be. She even has a gardening area in her garden which the kids regularly help with when the weather's appropriate.
Mamisofi isnt only their childminder but infact actually feels like part of the family. She will go above and beyond for the children in her care and for me that is something that is hard to find.

After changing job roles and having a longer commute I needed find before and after school childcare . Mamasofie came recommended, after speaking to mamasofie she invited my husband and 3 children to her house. Straight away I felt at home, the house was very spacious with lots of things such as books, games and pencils for the children. It was clear to see how well mamisofie looks after the children in her care. Another added bonus is mamasofie house is very close to the station and close to my youngest child school ! Mamasofie cooks fresh healthy home cooked food each day and always offers a healthy snack too. So when my daughter is not hungry when I bring her home I am never worried knowing she has eaten well at mamasofie house. I often have to change working hours to attend meetings, mamisofie flexibility really helps ! Mamisofie is the perfect balance of a providing a professional childcare service while providing a warm and loving atmosphere for children. Plus the discount price for bringing my 3 children and the extra help with home work is a bonus.
