About Me
I offer flexible childcare arrangements primarily in the afternoon, evenings, overnights and weekends.
I have 3 beautiful and lively sons who have been instrumental in my childcare career. We are a family who love our home, enjoy going on exciting adventures and exploring in the local community or further afield. I am confident that I can provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating day- to-day routine where children's well-being and freedom to develop will be supported and encouraged.
I opened a Preschool in 2014, it is open term time only so I have all of the school holidays off and I spend half of the week during term time managing the setting. I regularly attend community sessions with children at the library, playgroups and Childrens Centres as well as going to soft play areas and the park. My boys and I use the weekends and holidays to still go to these places and we go swimming as a family, rollerskating and sessions at places like the Nottingham contemporary. I am happy to travel for quality experiences that are appropriate for children in my care.
Currently I am offering childcare from home alongside managing the preschool for children under 5 years old during the day in the term time. I can accommodate a flexible care arrangement including school runs, evenings, overnights and weekends. Please get in touch if you need flexibility or irregular childcare as I am happy to support.
I have lots of indoor activities that will stimulate and engage children of all ages like singing, dancing, and puzzles. I do allow tech and television usage but this is not the primary source of entertainment, I encourage a variety of engagement especially with myself and other children.
I own my own car which I use in my day to day activities and have adequate insurance cover for my duties as a childminder.
My Experience
As of September 2016 I have a PGCE in Early years Education and gained Early Years Teacher Status.
Before I decided to become an Ofsted registered childminder, I worked as a teaching assistant in schools supporting children with additional needs. I have also been an admin. assistant and have looked after children for families in their homes including overnight care.
Having my own babies and supporting them reaching their development milestones has been a catalyst for me training as a childminder and progressing in my career to opening the Preschool. I love working with children and families and can't think of a more rewarding career.

I have undergone the statutory training required to become an Ofsted registered childminder and am extremely excited about the continued training and career development available to me as such.
The outcome of my May 2013 Ofsted inspection was a grading of Good.
The outcome of my June 2018 and January 2024 Ofsted inspection was MET for the Childcare and Early Years registers (Grading is either Met or not Met when there are no children currently on roll during an inspection)
I am Level 3 Qualified in Childcare and have completed my Early Years Teacher Training and have attained Early Years Teacher Status September 2016

I offer irregular working Hours:
Mon - Fri and weekends
I primarily offer overnight care/babysitting and work overnight and weekends, so please feel free to ask for availability.
I can collect from most local schools (please enquire).
I am available during school holidays for childcare and also before and after school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Fees are tailor made to suit parents needs and my availability. I offer drop off/collection from your home or an agreed place in the city. Siblings receive a discount.
