I cannot get enough of their beautiful innocent personalities and honesty. They are so vulnerable, yet so brave. I think the most rewarding part about caring for children is fostering relationships with them and their families. Having worked as both a nanny and a babysitter for children aged 1 to 11, I am adept at creating a warm and engaging environment that promotes their well-being and development. My Experience
I have previously worked with children and I have acquired many useful skills. I have over 4 years of experience working with children. I have cared for children from ages 1-11 during evenings and occasionally overnight. Prepared meals and ensured children were fed, bathed, and put to bed. I am currently working as a teaching assistant which allowed me acquire different sets of skills. For example, I have support the teacher with behaviour and classroom management. Support pupils with language development, social skills. As a phonics teacher I have the responsibility to help students with reading, spelling, and writing. In addition, I also resolve pupil conflicts and encourage taking responsibility for behaviour. I have the duty to observe pupils and monitor responses to learning activities, recording observations, and relaying findings to the class teacher. My qualifications, including an enhanced DBS check and first aid training, show my commitment to safety and trustworthiness. With a bachelor's degree in psychology, I have a better understanding of child development, emotional regulation, and effective communication with children of varying temperaments.
