About Me
Hello! We have a fabulously funny, smart 5 year old daughter - obviously we’re biased! - (and a super stepson who’s 14, with us every other weekend). Both our jobs are pretty hectic and frequently take us to London, so we’re looking for a lovely person to help with childcare three days a week. We were lucky enough to have a brilliant nanny with us for the last 3 years, but she’s leaving for personal reasons and so we’re on the hunt for someone to join us from the end of Feb 2025.
My Requirements
We’re looking for someone three days a week, both term-time and holidays (ideally Monday, Tuesday & Thursday but might be able to switch in a Wednesday). Either full or part-time for those days - to be discussed. Critical times are from about 4/5pm to 7/8pm, to do a flexible mix of school pick up/tea/play and bedtime if we can’t be there, but an extra pair of hands to help with cooking/ironing/emptying the odd dishwasher etc would also be hugely welcome. We’re flexible as to number of hours on those three days - especially during term time where there could be more or less to suit you, but if you did want more hours then that would be brilliant for additional childcare during the holidays. In short, there may be scope to broaden this in to more of a part-time housekeeper role if that might be of interest - we’re flexible! Any availability for the odd Friday or Saturday evening for babysitting or the odd day during the school holidays would also be ace (but not essential).
