About Me
I have extensive childminding experience, looking for (preferably) part-time or weekend work as a babysitter/childminder. I hold an MA in Creative Writing and a BA in Writing and English Literature, so I can easily help the children with their homework or even teach them if needed. I am a very creative and sensitive person who enjoys working with children and I have an approach centered on mutual kindness, respect and understanding.
My Experience
I have vast experience in looking after children aged 3-12. Duties included picking children up from school, talking to teachers on behalf of parents when parents were not available, preparing meals, entertaining, helping to get the children to and picking them up from after school classes (extracurricular), helping with homework, cleaning up, looking after safety and wellbeing of the children and making sure that they went to bed on time. I have an up to date DBS certificate (I am on the update service).
My Qualifications
I have a Level 2 NCFE in Support Work in Schools and Colleges. I have an MA in Creative Writing and a BA in Writing and English Literature.
My Availability
My current work is flexible and I'm available most of the time if I am told on a weekly basis when I would be needed - I can fit my current work as a teaching assistant and career as a freelance writer and online English teacher around it.
