About Me
I am a mature Nanny. I work sole charge, providing a safe and happy environment. I provide activities to stimulate the all round development of the child, e.g physical, intellectual, emotional, language and social.
The activities would include arts and crafts, messy play, ( always cleaned up afterwards by me) visits to the parks, Mother and Toddler groups and libraries. I encourage tactile play, construction, sing lots of songs and reading books, plus playdates. We would practice counting and colours.
My main priority is that the child is safe and having lot and lots of fun.
As a mother myself I can relate to both parent and child.
My Experience
I have been in Childcare for over 46 years. I started out as an Au Pair when I was in my teens, which then lead onto Nanny work, though still unqualified. I had a daughter of my own, and then when she started school I went to College and qualified for my Nursery Nursing Diploma. Since then I have worked as a Nanny, Senior Nursery Nurse, Playgroup Leader and in After School Clubs. I have loved every minute of it.

Nursery Nursing Diploma N.N.E.B. June 1995.

Ofsted Registered (volunteer register.) Updated 11th November 2024
Nanny Insurance. Updated 1st November 2024
D.B.S check. July 2021 (Will be updated again with each new job, as Ofsted requires.)
