About Me
HELLO my name is Terri i am an Ofsted registered childminder who resides and works in Ashford from my family home with my husband and three children .
I have been childminding for over 20 years now offering care in a active,safe loving and caring environment .
I feel i am a very open & approachable person.
I am a very active childminder who does lots of home based activiites and enjoy taking the children in my care out to explore and socialise.
I have a large variety toys indoor and outdoor to offer which are all in great condition. I also have plenty of wonderful books, role play toys, dressing up clothes, baby toys and equipment etc.
During the week the children I care for have opportunities for painting, water play & cooking - and of course general home life which many children miss out on in a nursery environment!
I am a quality assured network childminder with an nvq3 qualification .
I am able to offer feet and eyfe funding
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for over 20 years and have minded children from 3mths to 11years.
I enjoy and take pride in my work and find it very rewarding and enjoyable.
I offer a loving caring safe environment for the children to develop and grow into they own characters from within my family setting.
We enjoy outings on a daily basis including local toddler groups, soft play centres ,parks ,nature walks and children centres to mention a few.
I follow the early years foundation stage to met every childs individual needs and development
I have special needs experience
My Qualifications
I have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and development
I have an ICP nvq level 2
I hold a valid paedriatric first aid certificate.
I have attended the EarlyYears Foundation Stage training course.
My last Ofstead inspection gave me a Good rating.
My own life experiences and of course being an experienced parent helps too.

My Availability
My working hours are flexible betwen the hours of 7am and 530 Mon- Thursday and 7-3 on a friday

I charge £7.00 hr full time and £7.00 part time spaces
Sibling discount is avaliable.

Terri is such a great childminder. She really cares about the children she looks after and my daughter is very fond of her. My daughter has been with Terri since she was 9 months old and has never cried when being dropped off! Including during settles. Terri is able to give my daughter a home from home and is constantly taking her on new adventures. As a Mum who doesn't drive, I am limited to the different places we are able to visit, Terri makes sure my daughter gets to experience lots of different and exciting age appropriate places.
She really cares about child development and my daughter is constantly learning new things from being with her. She does great activities with the children along with other local childminders and their children which means they have get to interact with more than just their setting which is fantastic. My daughter has gone on leaps and bounds since joining her. Thank you so much Terri for the care and love given to my daughter, we will be sad to leave when the time comes.

As a Mother you want what is best for your child! You want to protect them and love them as they are such sacred gifts.The prospect of relying on someone else for chilcare was something I found extemely challenging to deal with!
I met Terri at a Sure Start centre - where several childminders were meeting that day. I was immediately impressed by her hands-on approach and how activley engaged she was with all the children in the centre that day (not only the children in her care). She is open, professional, friendly, fun, alive, active and the children clearly love her - as indeed Sebastian did upon their first meeting! Well... he decided there and then that Terri was the lady for the job!
Sebastain has been in Terri's care for one year and I am truly delighted with her care and input! I have no hesitation in recommending parents to Terri, for chilcare.
