About Me
I am a highly sociable and friendly babysitter and tutor, and SEND carer. I have many different interests and have a varied skillset. I'm a strong believer in having fun with the children in my care, but also understand the importance of safety, professionalism around children, and healthy behavioural boundaries. I have experience with SEN children, but no formal qualifications in this area.
I am looking to help families out on a casual, or more permanent basis. Work as a babysitter or tutor, or a mix of both would be ideal. Also able to offer household help. I am currently working towards getting my full driving license in Herefordshire as my lessons were disrupted by the pandemic then had no need to drive when I was working as a residential assistant and was studying at university in Bristol.
I am a competent cook, I am well educated, and children (generally) like me. I have just graduated from the University of Bristol with a first-class BA in English. I have A-Levels in English Literature, Spanish and Art. I have a wide-range of hobbies and interests and am able to cater to the needs of the family.
My Experience
In 2020, I worked full-time at a top girls' boarding school on a one-year contract. Due to the effects of the pandemic, I have had experience with children from Year 1- Year 8 (age 5-13). I have worked as a teaching assistant during critical worker school with girls in Year 1 and 2. Mainly, was based in a Year 6 & 7 boarding house- living in the house with the girls. This role covers many duties including laundry, food preparation, supervising prep, organising the girls, admin and many more daily activities. In this time, I have been left in charge of up to 20 girls with another member of staff at one time, showing that I am highly competent for my age.
In the summers of 2022 and 2023, I worked at a summer camp as a counsellor, then eventually managed, at an English Language camp for international students (7-17). I organised and led trips, did risk assessments and did overnight duties in the boarding houses as the senior member or staff for up to 30 girls aged 7-18. In the day, my main job was doing activities with the children and supervising their trips, 'facilitating fun'.
Highly proficient in Safeguarding and have an Enhanced Portable DBS.
My Qualifications
English BA from the University of Bristol, 1st Class.

My Availability
Availability has changed very recently as I am starting work as an agency teaching assistant in September. So will be significantly reduced times to those shown. I am fully booked up, 31st July, 1st July and from 6th-12th August. Otherwise I am free until school starts again.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My fees will vary depending on the tasks asked of me. A reduced rate will be given for hours worked overnight and casually. £12/hour for childcare. £18/hour for tutoring. Overnight, whilst children are asleep, £11.5/hour. Of course different rates can be agreed upon.
