About Me
I am an enthusiastic and out going person with a passion for being outdoors. I have horses and dogs so am more than happy to work with a family that have pets of any sort. I have a variation of experience in working with children and even adults with learning and personal disabilities. I have nearly completed a degree in Psychology and am looking to continue to a master's degree. I believe that whilst education is important; children should be encouraged to pursue their individual areas of strength.
My Experience
Assistant speech and language therapist (this was equine aided in places). Working with children and teenagers with learning disabilities including autism spectrum disorders and attention deficit disorders among others.
Private tutor: for a young girl aged 5
Horse riding instructor: for children and adults aged 4+
Home care assistant for adults
Personal assistant for a lady with advanced multiple sclerosis
Therapeutic care worker for children and teenagers
My Qualifications
BSc Psychology
Level 3 counselling
Makaton trained (rusty but happy to brush up)
I'm also happy to undergo training necessary for particular circumstances
