About Me
I have two gorgeous girls, 8 and 11. (One self sufficient 20 year old). I work part time in my own time and in my own home. I am easy going, knowledgeable about childcare as I used to work in EY many years ago ( happy to help anyone in their own studies!) and we all like to enjoy good equal relationships with carers who help us. I work with energy/ healing and my husband is a writer. We have a beautiful black Lab called Rosie. We live in a large house in rural North Devon which is partly a farm and cottages too.
My Requirements
We’re not your ‘everyday’ kind of family! We’ve had au pairs in the past (now part of the family) and now we have a few carers doing ad hoc or regular hours throughout the week. It varies from holidays to school term time but we’re always looking out for local Childcarers! During school time our youngest is dropped home at 5pm, eldest needs collecting at 5.30 locally, until Sept ‘25 and will then also be dropped home around 3pm. Play, Bath time, supper and bed. Holidays: relaxed days, lots of outdoor activities , trips out to local attractions. full time or part time daily childcare, occasional evenings by prior arrangement. We have a few carers who help us several hours a week and are flexible. Our youngest has special needs and is energetic and loving and sometimes not very cooperative. Much more like a three year old- it’s all fun and cajolling in this house and takes a special/beautiful, fun loving person to appreciate our loving family!
Our work is mainly flexible and we’re also around and about on our estate most of the time and so we are flexible with any potential candidates who may have other commitments, everything is negotiable!
My husband Nick, is a writer and I work with energy. We both run our country home with cottages, some for holidays makers, farmland and retreats.
