About Me
My name is Donna and I am an Ofsted registered childminder living in Titchfield Common. I have two grown up children and two gorgeous grandchildren.
I am also a member of PACEY and attend their online seminars and courses to keep my training updated.
Eddy, my husband ,works alongside me as my assistant at Stepping Stones Childminding. He is a qualified teacher and has had many years experience working with a variety of different age ranges in schools. We both hold full Paediatric First Aid Qualifications and regularly update our DBS certificates.
I will provide a warm, safe and friendly home environment in which children feel valued, can play, learn and develop.
We have a bright and airy play room which has free flow into a secure garden. We have a second room which is used for quieter activities.
We have a purpose built bathroom for the children to use. This has a baby changing station as well as handwashing facilities.
We offer the children a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors- including lots of sensory play and a mud kitchen in the garden.
We have access to many playparks , the beach ,woodlands and local shops and libraries. We incorporate these in our learning.
I have Public Liability Insurance and Business Use car insurance.

My Experience
I have worked in schools and childcare settings for more than thirty years. I have worked as a pre-school supervisor, 1-1 with a child with severe visual impairment and I have many years experience of working with children with special needs. My most recent experience has been working with children on the autistic spectrum and EBD children. I have vast experience of adapting activities so that all children can participate and benefit. I am also able to make and use resources to help children if required such as; P.E.C.s, visual aids schedules and Makaton Sign Language.
I have worked within Early Years Foundation Stage and also with older children-up to the age of eleven.
My Qualifications
N.N.E.B
B.A. degree in Childhood Studies.
10 O level/GCSE at grades A-C.
Level Three in Preparing to work in Home-Based Education.
Full Paediatric First Aid.
Enhanced DBS certificate.
My Availability
My opening hours are Monday - Friday between 07.00 and 18.30.
I am always prepared to be flexible to try and accommodate childcare needs wherever possible. Further hours can be arranged by request including weekends.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Monday - Friday : £4.50 per hour.
Weekends/Bank Holidays : £10.00 per hour.
Fees include a healthy snack in the morning and afternoon ,including all drinks.
Breakfast is charge at £1 per day.
25% discount for siblings attending on the same day.
I do not currently provide meals-apart from breakfast - but will ensure all packed lunches are stored appropriately.
