My Experience

With several years of experience as an early years practitioner in professional nursery settings, along with extensive experience in informal childcare, I've developed and nurtured a strong skill set in early childhood education. This includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, overseeing mealtimes, assisting with potty training, administering first aid, and overall providing attentive, holistic support tailored to each child's needs. I also have experience working with children with special educational needs, including implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure they receive the necessary support and care. While my professional experience primarily involved working with children between the ages of 18 months to four years old, I am fully capable and open to caring for children of all ages.

My Qualifications

I trained for a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Education while working full-time in a professional nursery setting. During this time, I attended various training events, including child first aid, and completed numerous CPD courses covering topics such as safeguarding, food safety and hygiene, behaviour management, autism and ADHD awareness, and children's mental health. I am also currently pursuing a BSc in Psychology, which I believe will enhance my skills and understanding in the field.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My typical rates are £15 an hour, though I can be flexible depending on circumstances.
