About Me
My name is Clare, I'm an Ofsted registered nanny and have worked with children and young people for more than 12 years. I am currently nanny shared between two fabulous families who I've been with since 2014 - I'm very fond of them and have become part of both but one family no longer need me because the children will both be attending senior school from September. Two have SEND although attend mainstream school and I carry out some homework (home schooling during lockdown), activities including art, creative projects, face painting, outdoor activities, baking, mothers and fathers help, school runs, bedtime routines, meals and light household duties. I also carry out pet care and dog walking duty, which I love. I have great references and years of experience with children and people of all ages including in a health care, creative and educational setting. I have my own car, paediatric first aid and a full dbs check. I'm a fun, creative and positive person who always works closely with parents to agree on a work pattern and desired outcomes although I'm also accustomed to having sole care of the children. My Experience
I have over 12 years experience as a nanny and child carer working in people's homes and a range of settings. This includes children's creative workshops, supporting children in a learning environment and children with special and additional needs from the ages of newborn and upward. I also worked in Child and Adult Protection for a number of years, which gives me great insight into safeguarding and health and safety. I am educated to postgraduate level and have a range of relevant and relatable training, qualifications and life skills. I hold Ofsted registration a full CRB, Peadiactric First Aid and full driving licence/car and am a fun, creative, animal loving, reliable, people person who loves helping others.
