I am a highly experienced tutor specialising in Key Stage 1 and 2 education. I focus on building a strong foundation in essential areas such as reading, writing, and mathematics, while also helping children develop study skills and emotional resilience. I hold a PGCE (Qualified Teacher Status) from University College London, where I achieved top marks in all my postgraduate modules. To deepen my understanding of child development, I completed a postgraduate course in Child and Adolescent Counselling at the University of Cambridge. These qualifications have broadened my expertise and strengthened my passion for helping students reach their full potential.
I consider it a privilege to be part of a child's educational journey and cherish the moments when my students make progress and achieve their goals. I have successfully supported children through 7+ and 11+ assessments, helping them gain entry to top British and international schools. However, I believe true success goes beyond these achievements; I strive to nurture the skills and confidence that will empower my students throughout their lives.
My Experience
Over the past decade, I have gained valuable experience across nursery, primary, and secondary schools, giving me a deep understanding of each developmental stage. My enthusiasm for one-to-one teaching led me to private tutoring in family homes, where I worked as a full-time live-in tutor for UHNW families, including royalty. In these roles, I designed and delivered bespoke learning programs aligned with the British curriculum. I now work on a freelance basis and have extensive experience supporting students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
