About Me
Hello, my name is Jade and I live in Rainham. I am a passionate Primary School teacher. I qualified from my degree in 2020 and have worked in a year 1 class ever since. I love my job and take pride in delivering fun and engaging lessons, ensuring that I fulfil children`s individual needs and next steps. I am patient, caring, organised and am always willing to go the extra mile for children`s learning and development. My main focus when teaching is to ensure every child is engaged, active and interested through providing a range of activities and games which will stimulate the child`s interest and instil a love for learning.
I am looking to tutor children who may need a little bit of extra help with their phonics or reading in Early Years and KS1.
I can offer:
- Practical learning with resources provided.
- Tailored explanations to individual children.
- A fun, play based approach to learning.
- Additional activities for you to work on at home (should you desire them).
I am happy to support and tutor children in Early Years and KS1. I am able to support long term, short term or one off bookings.

My Experience
I have worked as a Year 1 teacher for the past 2 years. Working within a mainstream school but adapting and planning my lessons to support all children, including those with SEND.
During my time at university I worked within 4 placements. 2 of which were in Reception, 1 in Year 1 and another at a SEND school. I also have a 3 year old step-son so am very familiar with the idea of play-based learning should you desire that.
I have taken many children through their phonics screening so am very familiar with phonics teaching, learning and the process of it.
My Qualifications
GCSE’s at level B and above.
A-levels at level C and 2 distinction *
Primary Education and QTS degree
DBS and multiple training certificates achieved from work.
My Availability
I am available after work, from 16:30 onwards (Monday-Friday). I am also available some weekends and of course throughout daytimes and evenings during school holidays. I am available to tutor online, at my child-friendly, welcoming home or (if within a certain amount of miles) at your home. I am also open to long term tutoring or 1 off sessions.
