Hi, my name is Billie, I am 30 years old and I live in Greenock.
I have relevant childcare qualifications -HNC Childhood Practice, First aid training, Food hygiene training, Full PVG check and a passion for working with children of all ages.
My services include providing care for your child in the comfort of their own home. I can cook, help with homework, attend any clubs or groups your child likes to attend and in general follow any routine that you would normally have.

My Experience
I grew up in a large family surrounded by children and realised very young that working with children was something i was passionate about. I have been a Nanny for 3 years now after leaving my previous job where I was a Room Leader in a Nursery for 2-5 year olds. I have experience in working in nurserys, schools, babysitting for family and friends. I am also a mum myself which has taught me alot along the way as my children are 11 and 9.

Billie was a nanny for my daughter between August 2023 and December 2024.
I couldn’t have been happier with the time that my daughter spent with Billie. She is warm and caring. Billie planned fun and interesting activities for my daughter in the house but also regularly took her on outings and gave her opportunities to play and explore. My daughter had a great time.
Billie was also extremely supportive with the not-so-fun parts of looking after a toddler. She always managed to get my daughter to take a nap and she couldn’t have been more brilliant when it came to potty training.
Billie was always reliable and an excellent communicator.

Billie was a nanny to my toddler from April 2022 until June 2023, only ending our relationship when we left the area. If I could have taken her with me then I would have.
She has consistently been incredibly patient with my wee girl who has been very challenging at times. She nurtured her and cared for her from when she was 5 months old until she was about 21 months and gave me absolute piece of mind while I returned to work.
She provided a range of appropriate, fun and engaging activities and outing which allowed my wee one to develop into the person she is today.
She supported with weaning and introducing foods and new textures, created a range of sensory experiences and made sure my wee girl had plenty of opportunities to attend groups with other babies and toddlers.
Billie communicated really well, kept me informed at the end of day, shared some pictures so I could see what my daughter was up to and worked with me to ensure she was able to support what I was doing with her e.g. when it came to approaches to weaning or nap schedule etc.
They formed a beautiful relationship and, honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more from Billie. I would have liked to have stayed at home longer but, as I couldn’t, Billie was absolutely the closest alternative I could have ever found.
Billie was never ‘just’ a nanny to us, she was an integral member of our family support system that we could trust and depend on and I will forever be grateful for the start she gave my little one in life.

We have recently started working with Billie and it's going very well! From the parents side - she is reliable, has great availability, and is easy to communicate with. From the child's side - she is calm, fun, and not afraid to get down on the floor for playtime.
The first time she babysat for us, our daughter was asleep when Billie arrived. She woke up about twenty minutes before we came home, and spent most of that time sitting quietly with Billie reading stories. Billie knew to meet her where she was at, something our daughter appreciated. Though she only spent a short amount of time with Billie, our daughter was asking for her the next day and talking about reading stories with her.
The next time Billie came over, our daughter was so excited! They played for a while in her room before Billie put our daughter down to sleep - and that is no easy feat. Our daughter does NOT like going to sleep. We were so impressed that Billie got her down for bedtime, and that she was able to make our daughter feel comfortable with her so quickly.
We are excited to continue working with Billie as our go-to date night babysitter and highly recommend her!

Billie turned up on time and was so friendly and reassuring for us as first timers using a non-family babysitter.
She got my youngest to sleep (5mo) quickly and sent us reassuring updates. Our eldest (2yo) then came back to the hotel room when he was tired and she helped settle him too.
Nothing was too much trouble, and we were able to confidently enjoy our evening knowing our children were in safe hands.
We wholeheartedly recommend Billie if you are looking for a hotel babysitter!
