About Me
I am a residential support worker for children and young people in my current position. My babysitting roles and volunteer work have also provided me with a range of workplace skills such as relationship building, communication and resilience. I am a naturally empathetic individual which would make me an excellent babysitter and I am keen to pursue a career in teaching and would love to extend my experience working with children.
My Experience
I have experience from caring for children with demanding individual needs such as autistic disorder, cerebral palsy and Downs syndrome and specialise in creating engaging and educational activities whilst advancing problem solving and multitasking skills thus tailoring my way of communicating to best support each child.
My Qualifications
I hold a BSc Psychology degree and am currently working towards a Level 4 Young people and Families Practitioner apprenticeship, I also hold 10 GCSE's and 3 A Levels; will be undertaking a QTS with PGCE at the end of next year to commence my teaching career.
My Availability
I can work weekdays and some weekends, mostly flexible so please feel free to discuss with me for more details.
