Hi I’m Megan, I have worked in childcare for 8 years now and I also have a daughter who is one years old. I am reliable, trustworthy and hardworking. I have great knowledge and understanding in child development and how children learn. I am passionate about working with children. I want to provide children with new experiences, opportunities and relationships to stimulate brain development and ensure children reach their full potential whilst having fun.
My Experience
I completed an apprenticeship in a nursery gaining a level 2 qualification in childcare. I then became a Nanny and did this for 2 years whilst completing my level 3 in childcare. I then returned to working in a nursery to enable me to attend university completing a degree in early childhood studies. During this time working in a nursery I have been an early years practitioner, room senior and third in charge. I’m currently a deputy manger of a nursery. I have worked with all ages from 6months- 12 years old.
Alongside carrying out my degree I have also completed training in brain development, behaviour management, quality of teaching, safeguarding and child development.
