About Me
Job Title: Full-Time Nanny (Monday to Thursday)
Location: [Insert Location]
Hours: Monday to Thursday (Exact hours to be discussed)
Start Date: Summer 2025
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Job Description:
We are a warm and welcoming family looking for a long-term, full-time nanny to join our household and help care for our two daughters—a 7-year-old and a newborn.
Summer Holidays (July–August):
The primary focus during the summer will be our 7-year-old daughter. We’re looking for someone who is active, outgoing, and positive to keep her entertained with fun activities, outings, and engaging playtime. Creativity and a love for adventure will be essential to ensure she has a memorable and enjoyable summer.
From September Onwards:
As we transition back to work in September, the focus of care will shift to our newborn daughter (who will be approximately 6 months old by then). The role will involve providing attentive care, establishing routines, and supporting her early development needs. Occasional care for our older daughter may also be required during school holidays or after school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, outings, and games for our 7-year-old during the summer holidays.
• Provide attentive care and support to our newborn, including feeding, nappy changes, and naps, from September onwards.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying toys, laundry, etc.).
• Maintain open and regular communication with parents.
• Occasionally assist with both children when needed.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience: Proven experience caring for both school-aged children and babies.
• Personality: Outgoing, energetic, and positive with a nurturing approach.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Qualifications: Childcare qualifications (preferred) and pediatric first aid certification.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the family.
• Transport: A valid driver’s license and own car is a plus but not essential.
Why Join Us?
We are a friendly and supportive family looking for someone to become a valued and trusted part of our household. This is a long-term position with the opportunity to grow and bond with our children as they develop.
If you think you’d be the perfect fit for our family, we’d love to hear from you!
