My Requirements
I co-parent a lovely 4 year old boy and his dad is based a 5-10 min walk down the road also in Notting Hill. We both have new partners now and it is an amicable and stable situation. We need consistency via childcare to navigate and a lot of support as all four parents work full-time and we have demanding schedules.
Our 4 year old boy is currently at Strawberry Fields (12:45 - 3:45pm Monday to Friday, 8:45 to 3:45pm on Wednesday). From next term, he will also be in full days on Friday, so Wednesday and Friday he will be in school 8:45 to 3:45pm. He is off to reception in September at Wetherby (9am to 3pm Monday to Friday except Wednesday which is a 12pm pick up).
He is very active and loves to play. He enjoys sports and other activities. He isn’t a fussy eater. He loves to do imaginary play and also play dates with friends in the neighbourhood. The right person will bring a very consistent, stable and calm energy and help our son to learn, grow and develop into a confident and well mannered boy. This includes meeting him where he is, playing with him, and also teaching him how to be polite and well mannered, laughing with him and holding him to a higher standard. They should be very reliable, punctual, professional and respectful.
We are looking for support from 7am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend babysitting help (sleeping over on a Friday or Saturday and helping out the next morning).
We are trying for a second baby (expected next Feb/March). I’ll be on Maternity Leave for the first 6 months and able to lend a hand. Thereafter, we will rely on this person to care for the baby primarily and my son when he is with us.
We are looking for support to look after the household - this will include childcare, housekeeping (laundry/dishes/cleaning) and some minor cooking and meal prep. This will all primarily in one residence.
Ideally this person has a car and a drivers license. We travel quite a bit as well and there will be the opportunity to travel with the family.
We prefer someone who is local to the area and has an area commute.
