About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder, providing childcare from birth upwards, in a caring happy home environment. My aim is to give support and reassurance to parents to help their children become independent, caring, happy, confident individuals. To help them reach their full potential and to be happy and thrive in our home environment.

I am professional with high standards. I work closely with parents, achieving the best possible outcome for their child. My home is very welcoming and happy. This helps the children settle in very quickly. I am a very friendly, warm, welcoming, calm, caring and honest person. I do everything in my power to make this process easy and smooth. This helps parents and the child feel relaxed, safe and happy to be in my care.

I provide wrap around care for nursery and school, ensuring familiarity and secure continuous provision for your child. Starting from babyhood right through to the transition of school life. I fully understand how sometimes it can be difficult for a parent to return to work, so therefore I always do my best to be as supportive as I possibly can. I always involve parents, ensuring that they are confident, happy and relaxed to leave their child in my care. I always endeavour to meet the wishes of their child's needs. We enjoy a wide range of activities including messy play, problem solving, role play, learning through song, peer massage, music time, a range of arts and craft, baking, nature walks, number walks, story time, planting and growing and lots more. Most importantly to me is sharing information allowing parents to have vital knowledge and involvement of their child's day, in the care of my provision. I have extensive training which is ongoing. This includes NVQ Level 3 learning support. Child Protection. ASD training RWI Training (Phonics) Talk Boost (Speech and Language). One to one training. Safegaurding. Paediatric First Aid renewed every 3 years. Prevent online training. Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Early Years Settings. I attend training offered to support Early Years Foundation Stage. I have worked in education for the last 21 years, the last 10 of which I focused in EYFS.
