I have lived in Penkridge all my life and completed my education up until 16 in the schools of Penkridge before progressing to Stafford college.
I live with my husband and my two daughters in our home in Penkridge.
I strive to make our home your home and give every child the sense of feeling comfortable and happy when they are here.
I provide a warm, safe friendly home environment with a family atmosphere.
Children receive a lot of individual attention whilst interaction with others.
I appreciate that parents are the most important people in a child's life, therefore consult with parents on all aspects of their child's care.
I like to take an active lifestyle and believe that there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing choices.
I attend local groups within the village which give the children the opportunity to interact with other children and experience new activities.
During school holidays I arrange a varied array of activities and outings.
Colouring, reading, baking, puzzles, role play, gardening, crafts, music, singing, water play, paining and outdoor play are just a sample of activities that I offer.
The eyfs standards are followed with timetabled activities.
My aim is to provide children with a healthy, balanced and tasty diet using a variety of colours, textures and tastes.
My Experience
I am a 38 year old female who gained my BTEC national diploma in early years when i was 18 years old. Since qualifying i have worked in childcare and gained a vast knowledge and experience working with children aged 0-16 years old.
I have new born and multiple experience and have great knowledge in routine setting and childs needs as i have worked as a family assistant for a few years.
I have access to my own car and car seats.
Since leaving college i have worked as a nanny, baby sitter, creche worker/manager, residential support worker and family assistant. Working across a wide spectrum of childcare all alongside each other i have gained experience in all areas of childcare.
I have a lot of experience working with big families with mixed aged children.
I have worked in a great special needs school just outside of Stafford and there I got to work with some very influential children and adults.
My last role was as a nanny. I worked with them for four years before having my first daughter and the family relocating.
My Qualifications
BTEC national diploma in early years
Level four diploma in social work with children and families
first aid qualified
Food hygiene
DBS checked in October 2015
Child minding courses completed.
My Availability
My normal hours of work are
Monday 8-530pm
Tuesday 730-6pm
Wednesday 730-430pm
Thursday 8-6pm
Friday 8-4pm
My husband used to do shift work so I appreciate its hard to find child care that suits
