About Me
I am a final year psychology student looking for some extra work whilst I am home. I am on route to start training as a child psychotherapist and have lots of experience in different settings working with kids! I have worked 1:1 with special educational children, in several nursery settings in England and Scotland working with babies to pre-school children. I really enjoy working and caring for children and hope you will trust me to come and give some help when you need me!
My Experience
I have been working in childcare settings for about 3 years now. I work in a primary school holiday club doing 1:1 care for SEN children, I also work for a childcare agency who have placed me in several nurseries throughout Cambridge where I have worked with children through to pre-school. I also work part-time in the university nursery in Aberdeen where I am currently a final year student. My main focus at university is child development so my current thesis project involves working with children also. I also volunteered during secondary school to participate in leadership programmes with local primary schools, did my work experience as a teaching assistant for a year 1 class and have babysat for some of my neighbours.
My Qualifications
I am a final year psychology student on track to graduate this summer. I have an enhanced DBS check and also a PVG check. I have completed several courses of childcare training including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food safety and more.
My Availability
I am home until the ~20th of January, I am not free on the 21st,22nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. Also one or two Saturday evenings but I am free throughout the week and most weekends all day. I am happy to work around you.
