My name is Maria Mendes I was born in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. My family flew to Portugal looking for a better life when I was six years old. So I grew up in Portugal.
I have five siblings, 3 big brothers, and 2 sisters. I was always surrounded by children, taking care of my nieces and nephews. I started babysitting in Portugal when I was 17,
I came to London to study Ba Hons Fashion design at Middlesex University, as I have a diploma in jewelry, my plans for the future is to be able to mix my passions clothes, and jewels and open a shop.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, drawing, and dancing.
My Experience
I started babysitting my nephew when he was still a toddler, my big sister was not feeling when after the childbirth so have been there for 2 weeks with her helping with the baby. I was babysitting 2 brothers, 7 years old Bryan and 5 years old Lucas last year. I was with the children every Monday to Friday while their parents were at work. I'll pick them up at school at 15h15 prepare them snacks and dinner, arrange some exciting activities to play with them. their parents will come home at 22 pm that would be the time I would leave. I'm easygoing around children, but when required, I ensure they do their homework, eat their meals and go to bed on time.

I have IVQ Diploma, Level 2 in jewelry
and I am holding skills for business Human resource diploma since June 2019
