Hello! I'm Zoe, a funny, loyal, creative, pure and passionate person at my core. I adore working with children for so many reasons. Children remind me to live in the present, to love unconditionally, to play and stay curious and to forgive easily. I began my child care journey as a day care assistant around London for newborns and young children. I then worked in primary schools and spent some time in an SEN college, before jetting off to become an Au Pair for a year in Germany for a wonderful family, who I still visit and keep in regular contact with. The thing I love most about being a nanny is the ability to build a strong connection that has the potential to last a life time. This kind of connection can create some of the most unforgettable moments, like riding a bike for the first time or hearing someone's first word. Nanny work is not only rewarding, but it's tons of fun! I love getting involved with the children's passions and projects, reading stories, walking in nature and playing games. Being a nanny has taught me so much and I'm ready to learn more on my new adventure with you :)
My Experience
I have previous experience in nursery's and schools as a teaching assistant. I have worked with babies and children ranging from 2-16 years. I also used to work in social care and have experience with special needs children. 2 years ago, I moved to Germany to be an Au Pair for a family that I still keep in touch with on a regular basis. They are like my real family! I'd be happy to give you their contact details as a reference. I have also done various baby sitting jobs in Germany and the UK and would be glad to give references for those as well. I also worked as an online English tutor to children ages 2-14. I am a qualified EFL teacher with a 120 hour TEFL and a Bachelor's degree, which includes modules in phonetics and articulation. If you would like to see any of my certificates, I can send those to you as well.
My Qualifications
I have references from my close clients that I have worked with over the years. I have a teaching qualification in English, a Bachelors degree and a brand new CRB check. I'm a UK national and have a scan of my British passport.
My Availability
I will be available to work from 8am to help get children ready for school. I can also do school pick up and get them ready for bed and be a baby sitter over night. I require three days off per week as I am also working on my own business. If there are days that work better for you, please let me know. I can cook and would be able to take care of simple meals in the evening for children if needs be. I am happy to bring children to clubs and participate in activities with them during after school hours and over days on the weekend.
