My Requirements

Looking for a part time private carer / support worker. Female only.

We are looking for a reliable person to look after teen girls with rare disease and disability.

* Must take pride in working with vulnerable people and take safeguarding responsibilities seriously
* Fun, kind, creative, with good sense of humour
* Effective decision making and judgement
* Good planning and organisation skills
* Achieves all Health & Safety standards including first aid and epilepsy training
* Car and driving license preferred
* Must be comfortable around dogs

What you will be doing:

* Be there to support family with day to day life at home, eating out, social visits, outings, holidays.
* Providing companionship for lovely, fun 13yr old and 15yr old girls
* You will be able to care for both children individually but not at the same time, this role is for a 1:1 carer who would be happy to care for both of our children individually depending on need/plans.
* Keeping diary up to date to ensure everything is recorded for each young person at home
* Working positively with girls 1-2-1 to engage in fun activities in the home and out and about.
* Support with personal care and medication. Training will be provided.

My 13yr old has special needs, lifting is a requirement and so a certain level of fitness and some experience would be beneficial. She’s very lovely and easy to get along with. Very happy to discuss if you message me.

Hours can be flexible, some weekends would be useful and some after school/evenings. If you’re interested let’s discuss our requirements.
