About Me
I am 30 years old and have been working in childcare for 9 years. I have 2 children myself, a 4 year old daughter and a 6 year old son. I have always been passionate in working with children and has always loved working in nursery settings. However, now that my family is getting older and as a family we are settled in Lincolnshire, I am keen on developing myself and pushing myself further into more leadership roles or working for myself.
My Experience
I have been working in nursery settings since 2014, gaining experience in all rooms up to the age of 5 years but most recently I have worked within the baby room; in my previous job role within an Ofsted Outstanding nursery, I became room lead for our brand new baby dedicated nursery, this delevoping my leadership skills. During my time in employment this year, I have gained all relevant training such as safeguarding, paediatric first aid, health and safety, fgm, prevent duty etc. Due to being a military wife and moving to different areas, I have worked within several different nursery settings gaining experience and insight into the parts of their business/care that works well.
