About Me
I am currently employed as a paediatric Occupational Therapist at a special needs school and work Monday to Friday until 16:30. With summer school holidays coming up, I am looking for extra work during school holidays in the afternoons or weekends, or the occasional babysitting.
I am a very friendly and gentle person and almost instantly get along with children. I grew up with a big and very close-knit family on a horse/citrus farm in small town in South Africa with lots of cats and dogs around. I have an older sister (32 years old & living in the UK) and 2 younger brothers (21 and 18). I am kind-hearted, hardworking and a very happy-go lucky person. I am outgoing, energetic, reliable and anon-smoker. In my free time, I love running and using this to explore the nearby neighborhoods.
My Experience
I am a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience in working in psychiatric, physical and pediatric fields. I am passionate about empowering children building confident, compassionate, unique, ambitious and independent young children.
I am fortunate enough to have dual citizenship - both Irish & South African.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree which involved a significant amount of time working with children with special needs
