About Me
Home from home childminding service ..
Hi, my name is Mary and I have been lucky enough to live and work within the Fleetwood and Cleveleys area for over 13 years.
I am married to my husband Marc and a mum and step mum to three lovely girls. While me and my husband have been raising our family I have always worked in care and specifically childcare, working for a highly recognised Nursery group providing quality care to a varied age range from 3 months to 11 years old, for several years.
I am now based a stone throw from the Mount Fleetwood and the beach where I can use my experience of ofsted accredited nursery experience to offer a more personal level of learning and development in a home from home setting.
My base now is our family home, where I have created a balance of homely, safe, educational and socialisation with adventure and enjoyment of the outside world.
Every day your young adventures will have a trip out to the local area that we all love to visit and experience the nature on our doorstep.
You will find my home setting provides a dedicated playroom subtly focused on early years foundation stage development, so learning is fun but also encourages a child’s natural development through play and activities.
It doesn’t stop there as we have a secure outside space, where fun, educational learning and free play can also take place. My home also host a cosy sleep and relaxation area to recharge for the next activity inside or out.
Both me and my husband have full DBS checks.
Over the years I have gain various qualifications and I will be continuing to update my knowledge and skill set through continues development.
My Experience
I have had a number of year experience over a 19 year period working in childcare .. my recent experience has been working for a well established nursery as a childcare practitioner for under 5’s, where I worked with all the age group at one time or another.. I also am a parent to a 22 year old daughter and step mum to 2 girls 13 and 11 years old.. as you can imagine they keep me on my toes.. I have had nutrition training in a previous role for under 5’s and I have recently undertaken weaning training to keep relevant with the current guidelines..

Lv3 childcare (early years workforce.)
Lv2 understanding mental health in the early years.
Advanced safeguarding and designated safeguarding lead.
Paediatric first aid
Diploma in mindfulness for children
Food safety and hygiene level 2

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 8am till 5:30pm.. I also do extended hours 7.30 starts and can do extra hours after 5:30, on request. I can also offer holiday care for school age children.
