About Me
I am a devoted mother of two. I grew up and attended school in Maidenhead. I like to spend as much time with my family as possible and I enjoy being around our household pets. I have a creative flair, a passion for gardening and a love for cooking. I don’t have many hobbies but I do play for a Women's darts team and enjoy target shooting in my spare time.
My Experience
I started out as a play worker and a lunchtime controller when I was 18 years old. Since then, I have had job opportunities in various industries. After having my youngest child, I decided to pursue a career in childcare which lead me to becoming a childcare assistant for a reputable childminder with over 20+ years experience. I enjoyed this role very much and continued to work as a childcare assistant for just over 3 years before becoming an Ofsted-registered childminder myself.
I have experience working with SEN children, particularly children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder & Dyslexia.
My Qualifications
I hold the following certifications;
•Paediatric First Aid
•Food Hygiene Certificate
•LA Safeguarding Training
•Ofsted Recognised Introductory Training Course that includes the following modules;
-Safeguarding Children,
-Understanding and working with EYFS,
-Recording Children’s Development,
-Developing Children’s Learning,
-Leading and Managing a childcare setting.
•Nutrition Training (Healthy Eating, Special Diets & Fussy eaters).
My Availability
My working hours are 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday.
