Hi! Im Alice. I have 9 years of childcare experience starting my career with children at the age of 17 when I completed my level 3 diploma in childcare and education. Since then, I have worked within a nursery, working my way up from apprentice, to nursery assistant, then to nursery practitioner (all working with children aged 2-5 years), and ending my nursery career as a team leader in charge of a small team caring for babies aged 0-18 months. During my time as team leader I worked extremely hard to progress my personal development by completing a diploma in Down Syndrome as well as becoming the nursery SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator). I absolutely adored my time within the nursery which spanned over 7 years but decided it was time for a change in 2021.
In 2021 I began my first job as a Nanny/housekeeper working for a family with two boys, aged 9 & 11. This was a big change from the ages I was used to but I was excited for new experiences and a completely different type of childcare role.
