About Me

Hiya! I was born and raised in the Philippines. By the age of 10, my family and I moved here to London to continue my studies. I have a younger sister whom I love so much despite our arguments. My family means everything to me as I always turn to them for support and strength, and no matter what happens, I know they will always be there. As a small family unit, we have a strong bond and good values. I am interested in becoming an afterschool nanny because when I was growing up, I was looked after by nannies. I felt like they were part of my family and I always enjoyed their company. When my parents are at work, they were there to entertain me and look after me, for which I am immensely grateful.
Moving to a different country at such a young age was a massive culture shock for me. It took me a while to adjust to a new school. I attended Langford Primary School in Fulham. Education is important to me as my parents have taught me that education is key to achieving my dream. I would love to be able to motivate and encourage children to do their very best in school, like for instance, helping them do their homework or turning a subject that they may find boring into something fun and interesting. At school, I was very driven to achieve the best I possibly could, and I was very proud of my GCSE and BTEC Level 3 results.
