I am a mum to a 14 year old girl based in Loughton and fully registered with Ofsted.
We have a warm and loving family home in central Loughton near to the tube station and Epping Forest.
I have a large range of creative and educational toys and activities and have access to local playgroups and clubs. I have friends who are also childminders and we have a friendly and supportive network. We like to spend time outside in nature in all seasons, making the most of the wonderful forest we have on our doorstep.
We focus on learning through play and creativity.
We like to cook and prepare healthy food and snacks with the children’s involvement, learning about healthy food choices and keeping our bodies and minds fit.
My Experience
I have nearly three years experience childminding, specialising in years 0-3. I have extensive experience with special educational needs, autism, ADHD and speech and language disorders. I have experience with children who use English as an additional language.
My Qualifications
I am an Ofsted fully registered childminder I hold a paediatric first aid qualification, have completed the Ofsted recognised introduction to EYFS course, Safeguarding Level 3, enhanced DBS checked, Food Hygiene Level 3 and I am fully insured. I am currently studying a Diploma in Child Development and a Diploma in Child Psychology.

As a first time mum having to go back to work after 6 x months, I was so anxious about leaving my baby, however as soon as my husband and I met Jane we felt completely at ease and knew our son was in the best hands.
Jane’s setting is fantastic and is completely focus for the children she cares for, she is truly invested in there development and plans activities and trips to widen there horizons, no day is the same.
We are so grateful to have Jane, and it means the world that our son feels so at home when he is with her.

My son was lucky enough to be Jane’s first child to care for. We were the luckiest family to find her, and to have her care, nourish and teach our son. Words cannot describe the love that Jane gives to each of the children jn her care. The thought that goes into every activity, knowing how each child will respond and adapting them to suit their personalities is beyond any expectation with childcare.
A patient, fun, caring child care provider who won’t just care for your child, will love them like one of her own

Jane has been an absolute treasure to our family! She has loved our kids like her own and there has never been a day that our kids have not had the best time with her. As parents we always worry about giving our kids over to someone else to watch but since day one I have always had the upmost confidence that my kids are safe and loved in her care. They have grown so much as little humans with Jane; not only intellectually but also emotionally. They have fostered so many amazing qualities such as empathy, compassion, patience, and respect outside of just the usually pre-school learning. We are going to be absolutely gutted when they go onto reception next year but Jane will always have a special place in our family :)
