My Experience

I am a highly trained Paediatric nurse of 16 years, with experience working and supporting all ages from birth, to teenager on a general Paediatric Ward, A&E, community, SCBU and as a nurse specialist with CAMHS, learning disabilities and mental health. I have experience of working with twins as well as maternity/ night nanny care.

I have not listed separately all experiences as I have amassed a considerable amount.
Please do ask if you would like further clarity of my experience.

I am more than happy to care for children who are unwell and not able to go to their regular childminder or nannie as this is something I am trained in.
This means that parents do not have to use holiday allowance, take sick days from work or chose whose turn it would be to use their leave.

My Qualifications

Paediatric nursing Degree
Enhanced first aid.
Child protection
Mental health first aid
Mental health and special needs experience.
Enhanced DBS.
Over 35 years experience with children and families.

I am fully insured through the childcare website.
My registration remains active as a paediatric nurse.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

** I have decided to bring in a cancellation policy, therefore there is now a 48 hour notice period as I have already mentioned I am happy to look after children even if they are sick due to my training.

***Cancellations
I understand that plans can change. To keep things fair and consistent for everyone, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice remain chargeable in full. This protects my ability to provide reliable care and ensures the children’s routines are not unsettled by last-minute changes.

To be transparent and to avoid confusion my fees currently start at £20 per hour for one child.
2 children £22 per hour
3 children £23 per hour
4 children £25 per hour
For regular hours I am happy to discuss a discounted rate for ongoing/ permanent work.

however the below scenarios will warrant a different price per hour.
**Friday 18.00hrs through to Monday 08.00hrs.
unsociable hours,
overnight,
temporary live in,
emergency cover ( less than 24 hours)
maternity fees to be discussed
** holiday cover and accompanying family abroad
** multiple children, mixed re special occasion.
** bespoke/ special needs to be discussed.
