About Me
I am a mother to two grown up children. I have worked with children since I was 16 years old and I have gained lots of experience throughout a nursery setting, parent support groups, SEN groups and more. I was the leader of a pre-school playgroup for 16 years where I gained lots of knowledge throughout a variety of training courses, including Child Behaviour, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Autism Awareness and Developing Language.
I continue to develop my learning and knowledge and I am currently completing a part time course in Therapeutic Childcare.
I have a DBS certificate and I have completed First Aid training and Safeguarding and Child Protection.
My Experience
I have over 20 years of childcare experience working with babies up to teenagers. I have worked in a mother and baby unit supporting new mums. I have worked with disadvantaged families and cared for children in a residential home. I have experience of working with children with SEN in a variety of settings. I have a level 5 in Childcare and I am currently completing a Therapeutic Childcare degree.
