I am a kind and caring person with a passion for working with children and helping them to develop the essential skills they need to develop and reach their milestones. I started my childcare career by doing a modern apprenticeship in early years and childcare when I was 18 years old and since starting down this career path I have never looked back.
I currently work as a support worker for children and young people ranging from ages 3-16 but prior to this job I have worked in nurseries as a child care worker and have worked on cruises as a youth worker
I have a wide knowledge on the curriculums (Pre- birth to three & curriculum for excellence) along with knowledge of and building the ambition/ setting the table and getting it right for every child (GIRFEC)
My Experience
- 3 years experience working with children and young people in a support worker role. - child protection
- 3 years nursery practitioner experience
- 1 year working as youth worker on cruise ships
- first aid trained
