Hi, My names Barbara, I’m a 39 year old mum of one, beautiful 8 year old daughter.
I work in childcare to be a part of what I love most - teaching through play - and helping to nurture amazing little people - that will one day shape the future
My Experience
I come from a creative background with experience teaching and assessing.
Activities I’m experienced in offering include - outdoor adventure through forest school inspired play sessions. Life skills such as cooking and baking. Messy play through arts, crafts and science experiments.
My Qualifications
Advanced DBS criminal record checked and hold training certificates in;
Homebased childcare
Paediatric first aid
Safeguarding children
Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and Early trauma
My Availability
My setting is very close to Durrington infant and junior and TAB infant- I offer wrap around care for these schools. I also offer morning and afternoon sessions in the week. And - although weekend’s are not standard I can look into emergency care if needed.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.88 per hour
My fees are per session as described below;
Wrap around care
AM 7.45 - 8.45am @ £4.88 per child
PM 3 - 6pm @ 14.64 per child
Morning 10am - 2pm @ £24 per child
Afternoon 2pm - 6pm @ £24 per child
Evening - on special events only TBC
Extras
Weekend - Emergency care only on availability- from £30 a session
Breakfast - 50p per child
All fees are payable a month in advance
Fees include drinks and a healthy snack per session
Fees no not include lunch or dinner - please can parents provide an appropriate packed lunch where required

Barbara is so lovely lady , my girls had a great time with her and her daughter. Evertime when they back from her house they fell very happy. I was so worried at the beginning as I don't know how I can find someone is safe to be able leave my girls with. She mead my learning time more easily than what I think 😍Thank you so much for everything Barbara ❤️

Barbara is a fantastic childminder. She has always shown patience,love and caring nature towards my son.My son loves the time he spends in her care with a lot of interaction.

Barbara is just lovely. She made me feel at ease straight away knowing my children would be in safe hands with her. They both enjoyed spending time with Barbara and her daughter before school and would often come home telling me about the exciting things they had got up to.....and so impressive in such a short period of time before the school run!!!
