I am a highly qualified, experienced, and friendly nanny and maternity nurse. I am ambitious, resourceful and flexible when it comes to my work. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge including caring for newborns and twins. I am a highly motivated individual and I would describe myself as responsible, kind, hard working and fun! I am passionate about what I do and have dedicated over 12 years to childcare. I am reliable, honest and outgoing with a mature and positive approach to all things. In my spare time, when I am not working, I enjoy baking and gardening!
My Experience
I have worked in and studied childcare for the past 12 years, since then I have gained a huge amount of experience in schools, nurseries and in family homes. After voluntary experience and work placements, I went on to work within a private day nursery for 4 years where I became a supervisor. I have since continued my childcare career as a private nanny/maternity nurse. For the past 5 years I have worked for a range of families and with children, raging from newborns as young as 4 days old, to children 8 years old. I also have experience with premature infants.
During my time as a nanny I have gained extensive experience working with multiple families and various children. I have experience providing full time, part time, ad hoc and proxy parenting care as well as being a travel nanny abroad and within the UK.
My experience includes working in homes with infants and children who have allergies and medical conditions such as asthma, reflux, CMPA, celiac disease, egg and dairy allergies.
I have worked with homeschooling families, those following Montessori teachings, blended families, single parents, working professionals, UHNW families, staffed households, families with multiples (including twins) and both working and stay at home parents. Moreover, I have experience supporting neurodivergent children and working with families from diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

I have used Katie for childcare for my children now 2 and 8. She has looked after Jasmine on and off between 6months and 2 years.
She is fantastic with babies, toddlers and young children. I totally trust Katie and have no concerns that she wouldn’t be able to deal with anything that come up. I always leave knowing the children are in safe hands. She communicates well when required and is very reliable.
