About Me
I am a positive, reliable and flexible tutor who has experience in supporting children to make fantastic progress and achieve their full potential. I tailor my tutoring to support and motivate the individual child. I have experience in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-11 on a 1:1 basis and I specialise in teaching early reading and writing.
My Experience
I am a qualified teacher who is an Assistant Head and teacher in a local independent school. I have significant experience in teaching children aged 3 to 11, finding creative and personalised solutions to support their progress. I am based in Coulsdon and this is where lessons would take place. I specialise in teaching phonics to promote children's early literacy and offer tailored, personalised tutoring to support the needs of the individual child. I also support children’s resilience, speech and language and fine motor skills.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher and am experienced in teaching both in a whole class setting and as a 1:1 tutor. I have a First Class BA Hons degree in Primary Education from Durham University.
My Availability
I am available on weekdays after school and weekends.
