I am an enthusiastic, bubbly and hard working individual. I have a passion for working with children, babies and young people in general! I am looking for a job that allows me to be flexible as I am also studying at the moment. I am punctual, have initiative and pride myself in being the best I can be at everything I do. I am able to adapt myself to different environments so have no problem settling in and am a quick learner when given the opportunity.
My Experience
I have worked at Great Ormond Street Children's hospital for 6 years - I worked for 3 years on a neurosurgical/neurological ward which entailed looking after children from new born to teenage years with a variety of different needs, some with special needs, some with physical disabilities. I am accustomed to working under pressure as the wards can get very busy and being able to work well under pressure is key. I am currently working on the mental health unit in the hospital working with young people between the ages of 7-14, some of which have been diagnosed with ASD and ADHD aswel as their mental health diagnosis.
I studied child development as a GCSE and health and social care in college. I have worked in healthcare in a variety of settings with both the elderly and young people since 2016.

My availability varies on a weekly basis as I am still currently doing shift work however, once u find the right family to work with, this can be changed to something more permanent with set days.
