About Me
I am a university student at the University of Bristol looking for part-time nanny/babysitting/tutoring work during term time in Bristol. I'm very friendly, super organised and reliable. Ive been working as an after school nanny throughout all 3 years I’ve had at university so far in Bristol and have a lot of experience with children of many different ages. I come from a nice family in south Lincolnshire and I enjoy spending time outdoors. I really enjoy working with children because I find it very fun, rewarding and sometimes even entertaining. I'm looking for a friendly family to help out. I love cooking/baking, reading, being active and creative but I am also very studious and would be very willing to help out with homework and would also offer tutoring for Maths, Chemistry and French up to GCSE level.
My Experience
- This academic year, I am looking for some more work as a babysitter/tutor/after-school Nanny alongside university studies.
I have a lot of experience in this area and currently babysit occasionally for different families in Bristol but have no regular childcare work yet this academic year.
- In my second year of University I was an after-school nanny working 3 days a week for children of ages 5,6,9,11. I also helped out with light housework and tutoring.
- In my first year of university I was looking after 3 five year old girls from 3-5:30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday alongside my university studies. My role included picking them up from school, giving them a snack and planning and carrying out activities with them which mostly included a lot of crafts and playing outdoors.
- I also babysit occasionally for a few families in Bishopston area.
- I was babysitting part-time day and night for children with ages ranging from 4-11 years old whilst being back at home last summer.
- I took part in a week of work experience at a primary school where I helped the children with things like reading and forest school as well as playing and chatting with them at lunch and break times.
- I also volunteered at Brownies (a branch of girl guiding) in a nearby village hall where I helped girls aged 6-9 learn new skills and carry out various activities.
- I have a brother who is 6 years younger than me which I would often babysit for back home. Very often when my parents were busy with work I would also drop him off at school in the morning and pick him up in the evening.
My Qualifications
Finished 2nd year university currently studying Economics and French. I took my A-levels in 2021 and got 3 A*'s in Mathematics, Chemistry and French.
My Availability
I can be very flexible with timings - I am free most weekends and evenings for babysitting.
