My Experience

I am an experienced childcare professional with a strong background in both educational and home-based settings. My journey in childcare began in March 2020, working as a general teaching assistant in a primary school in Devon. Over four years, I primarily supported children in preschool and reception classes, while also gaining experience across Key Stages 1 and 2 (Years 1–6). This role deepened my understanding of early childhood development and classroom dynamics, as well as my ability to support a wide range of learning needs.

In August 2022, I began working as an after-school nanny in Devon for two children aged between 2 and 6. My responsibilities included school pick-up, preparing nutritious meals, supporting after-school activities, and providing weekend, summer holiday, and occasional overnight care. This hands-on experience allowed me to build close, supportive relationships with the children and their family while developing a flexible and proactive approach to care.

After relocating to London in November 2024, I began working as an after-school nanny for two school-aged girls. My duties include school pick-up, preparing meals, overseeing homework, managing household chores, and transporting the children to and from after-school activities. On Wednesdays, I work extended hours from midday into the evening, providing more comprehensive support during the day. This role continues to build on my experience in balancing multiple tasks while ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for the children in my care

My Qualifications

Level 3 Qualification - Teaching Assistant.
BA Hons in Film at Exeter University. 2:1.
GCSE C and above in Maths, English, Science, History.

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

£13 - £17 an hour.
