About Me

Hi my name is Joice,
I am a nanny, new qualified Maternity Nurse level 3. I am looking for a job ASAP.

I have a genuine interest in and love for children, I have an ability to communicate appropriately with children of different ages, I have high levels of energy, I have patience in teaching children new skills, like baking, crafts, I am very creative.
I have been a capable and patient child carer with a range of experience working with babies and young children. I like to maintain a positive outlook on life and embrace opportunities to support children’s learning. I create a warm, safe and secure environment for children to develop and thrive in and understand how to support their emotional and physical needs. My experience as a nanny, childminder, a teaching assistant and a mother has allowed me to develop a range of knowledge and skills.

I have a Cache Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning, children development from the age of 0 to16. As part of the course I had my placement work at Walker Primary School supporting Year 2 class children. As an adult learner
I feel that I can act as a good role model as a lifelong learner for children. In my role as a teaching assistant I supported students with their educational and social development, implementing learning programmes as well as promoting delivery of the curriculum through music, physical education and art and crafts.
I know how to develop and maintain a clean and safe environment for children, whilst encouraging independence.
I develop a sense of trust with the family I work for, showing understanding and patient, respecting the family, forming a bond with children and family, consistently promoting the children's development and well being, showing a high of standard of professionalism and good conduct
I understand about Child Protection, Healthy & Safety, Confidentiality.
As a lifelong learner myself as well as being bilingual, I feel confident that I can not only support children with their learning but also act as a role model to show resilience. I have good child protection awareness as part of my training and work experience.
I have experience with communicating with a wide range of adults including parents, children's and their families & friends.
I am hardworking, committed and loyal.

I attended to my training as a MANNTA Maternity nurse level 3 course, which gave me a wealthy of experience and confidence.
