About Me
I am a mum of two girls, 8 and 10 years old. They are both home educated so I am at home and flexible most of the time. We follow a very gentle and child-let parenting approach, try and go outdoors a lot and care about healthy food and being active. We all love being creative and doing activities and meeting all our friends. My husband is English and I am German, but even though our children are fluent in German our main language at home is English. Childminding during the day would mostly mean I would have my girls with me too, but they are great with other children and they are also great at entertaining themselves.
My Experience
Besides looking after my own daughters full time for the last 10 years, I have had different babysitting jobs in my life from when I was 14. I have also been au pair for a couple of months at some point. I currently look after one other child on a fairly regular basis. Which include school pick ups and playing at our home or evening babysitting.
My Qualifications
I have a B.A. but no specific childcare qualification, just lots of experince. My daughter did a mini First Aid course the other day, so I was thinking about refreshing my knowledge from when I did my driver's license.
