About Me
Hi there! I am a 20-year old university student at Lancaster University completing my Bachelors. I am passionate about child psychology and children's well-being and want to become a social worker in the future (or otherwise work with disadvantaged children). Because of this, I am interested in gaining experience in babysitting. Since I was a child myself I have adored children and would feel blessed to have the opportunity to work (and play) with them :)
I can cook, clean and I tend to be organised and well-equipped at all times. I have a cat and am happy to be around animals too. I have moved around throughout life which has made me very adaptable and also open-minded, as it requires an open mind to understand new cultures and environments. Given this, I believe I would be a great fit for looking after children and their needs, whatever they may be.
My Experience
I have lots of experience babysitting my beloved little cousins, and I also tutored children from ages 8-16 over the course of 6 months. I do not have experience in professional child care but I do have experience in other fields such as retail and hospitality which has given me transferrable skills such as health and safety awareness, social skills, attention to detail and overall improvement in dealing with general pressure and stress.
My Qualifications
I am completing a Bachelors of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Other than that, I have 9 GCSE's and 3 A-levels.
