About Me
Hello! I am looking for some tutoring work in Cambridge. I am a dedicated, warm and nurturing individual currently working as a Year 1 Teacher in Ely. Working with children is all I have ever wanted to do, and I feel privileged to have had so many incredible teachung and learnimg opportunities so far. I have been private tutoring for over 5 years and love being able to build relationships with children, helping them to fill their knowledge gaps whilst having fun.
My Experience
I am currently a year 1 primary school teacher and I have over 6 years of experience working with children of varying ages. I have also been a private tutor for the last 5 years, teaching KS1 and KS2 lessons on both a 1-1 and group level, including post pandemic catch up sessions and 11+ sessions. In my previous post I was a class teacher in year 3 for 2 years, and after that I taught in a SEN class.
My Qualifications
I have a Master's degree in Education, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. I am a qualified Primary School teacher with up to date DBS and I am trained in first aid. I have a full driver's license and my own car. I also speak French which I am continuing to develop through online classes.
My Availability
I am happy to offer later nights or online sessions if the children require this
