About Me
I am a holistic, person centred, creative tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience.
I love sport and nature and I absolutely love animals.
I trained as an actor and alongside acting I facilitate, teach and tutor. I am an Associate Artist of the National Youth Theatre, running their yearly summer courses, drama clubs and intake auditions.
My Experience
For the past 10 years I have tutored a broad range of subjects to people from different backgrounds, with different needs. I have previously tutored people aged 3-50 and I truly believe age is not a barrier to learning!
I have a first class BA Hons degree from a top UK drama school and I have been teaching audition technique, public speaking, drama, poetry and acting 1-1 for over 10 years.
I am an associate of the National Youth Theatre, facilitating their yearly intake auditions and I teach LAMDA grades.
I have helped previous clients get into drama schools such as RADA, LAMDA, Rose Bruford, ArtsEd, Central School of Speech and Drama and Royal Welsh and many of the people I have worked with have been accepted into the prestigious National Youth Theatre.
The other side of my work that is of upmost importance is wellbeing. I have a long history of working in the mental health sector and have learnt a lot about how important it is to make the people I work with feel valued and supported. I have a level 2 and level 3 Certificate in Counselling and I am Level 3 Safeguarding Trained. I am a qualified First Aider and Mental Health First Aider.
